Each day I ask myself questions relating to teaching and learning in the elementary grades - specifically kindergarten through grade two. On these pages I will share the answers I have found to some of the questions I ask myself during the day. At times, I will add my own opinions and/or reflections (which I will state as such).I will begin with a page on the Common Core State Standards; something all educators are talking about now. On page two I will introduce you to an "out of the box" approach to teaching struggling readers.
